NORTH SALEM -- Mrs. Lillian M. Richards, 78, a former Resident of North Salem and Shannondale, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Winona Hospital at Indianapolis where she had been a patient two days. Mrs. Richards was a graduate of North Salem High School. She was a former employe of Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis and a former member of Order of Eastern Star at Indianapolis. She was born Nov. 10, 1897, in Montgomery County, a daughter of Otto and Ella Zachary. She married Frank Richards in 1954. He died in 1974. Surviving are a son, John Beeson of North Salem; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Porter Funeral Home here with the Rev. Elder Harold Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday.--waw
